Blepharoplasty is an operation that removes excess skin from the eyelids as is a result of age in order to achieve rejuvenation and restructuring. It is done in many cases for aesthetic reasons, but it is common that the sagging of the skin on the upper eyelids to be so severe that it narrows the patient’s field of vision. This short procedure (only an hour and a half) is a minimally invasive technique because it is performed under local anesthesia and the patient can then go home.
